Hello all, my husband just got a job in richmond virginia, and now we are moving there in less than a month. I was wondering if anyone knew of any job opportunities there, because I am ready to go back to work now. I have received my b.s in human Services and counseling, and will do call center work as well. So any suggestions will be taken into consideration. Oh yeah, I am really into case management work.
Thanks in advanced.

Hi, good luck in VA. If you don'thave lots of work experience, see if you can get an internship/volunteerwork. I have a B.A. in sociology/Human Services, and this type of work has really helped me get a foot in the door. Get in touch with the State Voc REhab department, and be assertive about what you want. HTH.

Hi, see if Voc rehab could put you in touch with a business outreach specialist. If possible, get in touch with your local workforce Center, or employment agency. Try to have as many resources at your disposal as possible. Don't forget an updated resume/cover letter. If you don't have one, your voc rehab department should be able to put you in touch with a person/agency who can help you with this.
